SMART system overview
Our SMART system consists of four operating modules, plus a Management module, seamlessly integrated into a powerful, user-friendly, automated information management tool:

Content Manager
  • Houses a database of all of the information used in a particular brand asset and allows instant updates to all text within a single SKU or multiple SKUs.
  • Editable data fields are organized by SKU-specific text; brand/family text; legal/compliance text; and client-specific text.
  • Once a change to a single text block is entered, every linked SKU is instantly updated with that change.
  • Thousands of SKUs can be updated with a few keystrokes, dramatically reducing cycle time, costs, and the potential for human error compared to traditional manual updates of each SKU.
  • Secure access allows only authorized users to make changes and records a history of all activity.
  • Once changes are made, each updated SKU is automatically moved to the Traffic Manager module for easy workflow tracking and approvals.
Traffic Manager
  • An automated workflow system that allows users to easily view, track, and manage current projects in process. Includes a search feature to instantly find any project.
  • Provides real-time project status, automatic routing to multiple reviewers, automated reminders and approval prompts, mark-up tools via Adobe Acrobat to indicate edits/changes, and a complete historical archive of all activity.
  • Reduces time and costs associated with traditional proofing and project management methods.
  • Once approved, finished project files are automatically transferred to the Asset Manager module.
Asset Manager
  • Houses and organizes completed, ready-to-use brand assets and provides a search feature for quick and easy access to all currently approved SKUs.
  • Allows secure and controlled access for viewing, emailing, or downloading files and includes a detailed history of all activity.
  • Provides current print status and quantity-on-hand reporting for enhanced inventory control of each SKU/brand asset.
Element Library
  • Houses all of the separate files used to create your brand assets, such as photos, logos, artwork, and backgrounds.
  • Search feature allows quick access to a single element, multiple elements, or a range.
  • Historical reporting can track who has uploaded or downloaded a file, who requested and made a change, and where and when a file has been used.
  • Substantially reduces storage requirements by housing only a single high-resolution element that can then be converted to any size or file format for use in a finished piece.
Management module
In addition to the four operating modules, a Management module allows designated system administrator(s) to authorize and manage the access, permissions, and use of the system by any other user.
