- Identify, assess and manage social and environmental risks.
- Strive to prevent and minimize our contribution to pollution of land, air and water.
- Demonstrate continual improvement by monitoring and controlling progress, documenting the achievement of objectives, and optimizing employee efforts in these areas.
- Promote efficient use of natural resources and minimize waste by recycling and using renewable energy sources, when possible.
- Reduce, and where practical, avoid the use of hazardous materials and, when such materials are in essential use, take steps to prevent damage to either public or ecological health.
- Consider social and environmental aspects in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, carriers, distributors and contractors.
- Develop annual and long-term social and environmental objectives.
- Regularly communicate our social and environmental performance to our employees and other significant stakeholders.
- Utilize our management processes to ensure that social and environmental factors are a key consideration in our planning and implementation.
- Promote social and environmental awareness and responsibility among employees by providing appropriate resources, education, and training.
- Comply with all relevant social and environmental regulations and take additional protective measures, as it considers necessary.
